The Tanka Society of America thanks David Rice for his eight years of service as editor of the society's journal, Ribbons. He has announced that he now wishes to hand over the reins to a new editor, and has proposed Christine L. Villa as his replacement. Pending the upcoming TSA officer election, we are pleased to welcome Christine to this new position starting as soon as David publishes his final issue this fall. Watch for news about the election of officers for the 2020–2021 term, coming soon. In the meantime, please join the TSA in thanking David for editing our flagship journal so reliably, and for managing the publication of our annual membership anthologies. Thank you, David.

We are also pleased to welcome Tamara K. Walker as the new Ribbons book review editor, an appointed position, effective immediately. For more information, please see the Ribbons submission guidelines. Welcome, Tamara. Our next submission deadline is December 31.
