Before most sessions at Tanka Sunday 2015, we’ll have a quick drawing of names from a hat for attendees to stand up and read one of their tanka poems. When you check in at Tanka Sunday, let us know if you’d like to participate (it’s completely optional). If you happen not to be present when your name is drawn, your name will be added back into the hat. If your name is drawn, please be prepared to stand up in the audience and read one of your own tanka. So get your tanka ready! We’ll have other opportunities for open-mic readings, too, including our opening round-robin reading, and an open-mic reading in the evening.
