Tanka Monday 2025

The Tanka Society of America is planning to sponsor its seventh tanka conference, to be held in person on Monday, September 29, 2025 in San Francisco, California (we expect to have a reading on the Sunday night, at 7:00 p.m., with a full day of sessions on the Monday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.). Accommodations will be at the Holiday Inn Golden Gateway at 1500 Van Ness Avenue, centrally located at the west end of the city’s famous cable car line. Our events will most likely be held at the Holiday Inn or at a nearby venue to be announced. “Tanka Monday 2025” will take place immediately after the 2025 Haiku North America conference, with a variety of speakers, readers, performers, and other activities. Presenters and readers will be announced. We look forward to seeing you in person as Zoom options are not possible for this event.
