Tanka Sunday 2017 Things to Bring

To maximize your experience at Tanka Sunday, please come prepared by considering the following options.

• Tanka handouts to exchange (trifold pamphlets, handmade books, bookmarks, postcards, or other handouts that feature your tanka—consider making at least 50 copies—optional)

• Poems to read (you’ll have several opportunities to read your tanka)

• Tanka-related books to sell (at our informal tanka bookfair)

• Checkbook or cash to pay for books

• Tanka notebook (we’ll have time for writing too)

• Camera (don’t forget the area’s beautiful Native American sites)

• Swimsuit (for the hotel pool)

• Your enthusiasm for a great day of sharing, writing, and celebrating tanka!
