2024 Goldstein Contest Judges

Our gratitude to Reid Hepworth and Vandana Parashar for judging the Tanka Society of America’s 2024 Goldstein International Tanka Contest.

Reid Hepworth is a Pushcart Prize–nominated poet who resides on Vancouver Island, British Columbia and Georgian Bay, Ontario. She is a retired expressive arts therapist, theatre technician, and general manager of early years/literacy programs. Reid is a former associate editor at Triveni Haikai India’s The Haibun Gallery. Her work has been published internationally.

Vandana Parashar is a postgraduate in microbiology, an educator, and a haiku poet. Her haiku, senryu, and tanka have been published in many national and international journals and have won her many prizes and accolades. Her haiku was also shortlisted for the 2020 Touchstone Award. She is an associate editor of HaikuKatha and one of the editors of Poetry Pea and #FemkuMag. Her debut e-chapbook, I Am, was published by Title IX Press (now Moth Orchid Press) in 2019 and her second chapbook, Alone, I Am Not, was published by Velvet Dusk Publishing in 2022.
