Tanka Sunday 2015

The Tanka Society of America is pleased to sponsor its third tanka conference, to be held on Sunday, October 18, 2015 amid the autumn colors of upstate New York. We’ll gather at the Desmond Hotel, located at 660 Albany Shaker Road in scenic and historic Albany, New York. “Tanka Sunday 2015” will take place immediately after the Haiku North America conference, and will feature tanka scholar and translator Amy V. Heinrich, former director of Columbia University’s C. V. Starr East Asian Library, as keynote speaker. Additional speakers, readers, and performers include Pamela A. Babusci, Tom Clausen, Marilyn Hazelton, Laura Maffei, Nancy Matsumoto, Kyoko Miyabe, Kala Ramesh, David Terelinck, Michael Dylan Welch, Kathabela Wilson, Aya Yuhki, and more. Don’t miss out!
